Does anyone here have experience with Arcade monitors for PC? I have been using MAME (multiple arcade machine emulator) for a while and lately I have been really interested in the idea of getting an arcade monitor for my pc some time in the future. I've heard of the Wells Gardner 27-screen VGA arcade monitor D9800 and when I save up enough money I want to try it out. After that I want to try get my hands on an arcade controller but for now I'm only interested in the screen. Whenever I try to play video game ROMs on emulators on my new computer they load, but don't work...? They load and don't play on my new computer with 4 gigabytes of RAM. On my previous computer, I only had 286 bytes of RAM, but ROMs worked well on it. What's going on with my new computer? In other words, is the problem too much RAM for the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator to work? Regardless, what do I need to do to remedy this problem? My previous computer used the Windows XP operating system, while my new one uses Windows Vista.
