How do you fully download a Mame emulator? Everytime i download the Mame and try to load a game it say shit like ''Bin not Found'' and a bunch of other shit. PLZ HELP :(

MAME (0.133s) emulator help? I just downloaded the newest MAME emulator (MAME 0.133s) and cannot get it to work. I have a pretty new computer with MS Vista. I reviewed a guide that was already on yahoo answers but was having trouble at the extraction stage. Every time I click on the MAME .133 icon it asks if I want to extract the file. HELP WITH MAME EMULATOR PLEASE - I downloaded and installed and tried some roms but none work just an error!!? I installed MAME on my windows vista PC (1st time using MAME) I did what I read online and put the roms (without unzipping) into the roms folder I start MAME and the stuff i added shows up fine (Die Hard Arcade and Virtua Fighter Remix) (also added neogeo and something else in effort to get die hard arcade and VF to work) it says die hard is "working" so i select it and it says that i am "MISSING ROM FILES OR CDH IMAGES" or something like that, and it does that for every single rom i try can somebody help me? what am i doing wrong?

One thing I don't get is that I downloaded the latest version of MAME (v.0.129) from the main website, and it doesn't seem like it can play any of the ROMS I downloaded. I already know about how alot of ROMS you download are old files or are meant for older versions of MAME and stuff like that, but if that is the case whats the point of even coming out with this new version of MAME if it can't play anything currently on the web? Help on using MAME? Im new to MAME, but not roms and emulators in general. MAME is in a category all by itself though. Rom images? Do they mean actual picture images? Or do they mean ROM files like you can download from places like www.coolrom.com? File extractions? Where does everything go, which folders do the games go in, which folders need to be extracted and which ones do you leave zipped? Take SNES for example....for the emulator, you download it and extract it into a new folder. The game is pretty much the same...you download it, extract it into the folder with the emulator I have downloaded the MAME emulator....but thats as far as i've gotten. If anyone has had success running this seemingly complex process..... could you PLEASE give me complete step-by-step instructions (starting from scratch) on how i can get this going and start gaming?!! Everything....from which folders to extract to which folders to put the games into.....all the way to pressing start and playing the game.

Problem with the MAME emulator,,,? I have a mame emulator (guessing it's 32) and downloaded jojo's Venture. As it was instructed, I placed the rom in the roms file and tried to play it. First time, the emulator asked for a file that I can't remember and I downloaded the file. how to play MAME games? I have problems running MAME games. My desktop computer runs Windows Vista. This is what I have done. First, I went to ROMNation.NET and downloaded 7-Zip and MAME32v103 for Windows. Second, I used the 7-Zip program to unzip the MAME emulator. Third, I downloaded the ROM - Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter. Fourth, I opened the Mame file. I will list a few folders of the MAME file below. The first folder is artwork and the last one is mame32.exe. artwork bkground . . . roms samples . . . Mame Term... mame32.exe Then, I dragged the entire file of the game into the roms folder inside Mame32v103. Next, I clicked on MAME32.exe and under the file tab, I audited all games. After the auditing was complete, no game ROMS were found. What I found was the game file showed up below the mame32.exe folder. I think the roms folder was empty. Could someone please tell me the proper way of putting the game file into the ROMS folder? Thanks.

How to operate it? I downloaded a game that uses MAME (emulator). Yes I already have the emulator and the game files were also extracted. On the assigned directory (C:\Program Files\) I put the folder for MAME and also a folder for the game. Now, opening the game folder will show you a different file types (of course, that's why there's an emulator, hehe) and opening the MAME folder will show you the following folders: artwork cfg ctrlr docs roms samples and five executable files: chdman jedutil ledutil mame romcmp with a notepad named "whatsnew" Now, only the mame file here is I guess the one to be executed to run the game, and so I open it that resulted to these notes: "No games found. Please check the rompath specified in the mame.ini file". What does it mean? Can anyone explain me the right procedure? I have the game, I have the emulator, but still I can't play it, very frustrating... Yes I know that there's something I don't know, can you tell me? Kindly tell me the exact procedure please???

Emulators For My Xbox.? I am trying to find a MasterSystem, and a Nintendo64 emulator, but i dont have a clue where to get them.
