What's the best place for free online video games (without annoying ads!)? My two kids just got their own pc. I want to let them play simple free online arcade games (like dressup, puzzle & girlie games or action & adventure pc games for the boy ) but i dont want to expose them to adult ads. Also i remember to have seen fun memory and skills games somewhere, which i think can be a benefit for my children. But i forgot the name of the site and i cant find it anymore. HELP!

What are your thoughts on the xbox arcade? I have 4 kids, 8 ,7, 5 and 3. Been thinking about buying them one of the game systems. We had a PS2 but it broke. (it was old) The kids won't be doing anything online with it, I don't know if that helps or not. So, I've got a few questions. Do you think this is the best choice for young kids? Can you use the other xbox games with the arcade system? I was told that they make more games for the xbox then the ps2. Up here in Alaska. It's $199.99, it was $80 more but they lowered the price. How reliable is the xbox jasper and is xbox live as good as PC online gaming? Okay, my brother got a ps3 and I gotta admit it's a great system. However, the online gaming sucks. It lags and system update takes 10-30 minutes. Whenever I play codmw and codmw2, I feel like playing against bots because people aren't talking. I don't talk while playing but I just love killing those little kids who keeps talking, it's music to my ears when they cuss at you for killing them. Worst part of it is I can't pretend like I'm a god of War or some male tomb raider in a little big planet. does anybody know the name of the arcade game. it was a side scroller.? it was a side scroller came out in the 90s it was also on sega genesis and i think nes. it had a guy who shot these guys that looked like cobra commander but they were all different colors i think it was a two player game not sure. you could jump up onto balconies and hide be hind boxes to avoid enemy bullets. i saw it online but cant remember where. played it as a kid and dont remember the name and it irritates me.

Remeber this old arcade game?? There was this aracde game that I used to play as a kid, but I can't seem to find the name of it anywhere online. It was kind of like a birds eye view of this guy driving a car, and if the car was shot up by the bad guys it would catch fire and you had to press a button to jump out. You could also run around on foot and shoot. I believe at one stage you had to dodge cannon balls or something like that. Sorry for the poor description, but thats about all I remember.

Andkon Arcade : Riddle School 2 and 3..HELP!!? On the website andkon.com, there are two games that im trying to beat. The first one is Riddle School 2..now, I get to the part where you have to buy the big guy a cookie, but I've clicked on everything and it won't move on. I have no clue what to do! In the second game i need help with, Riddle School 3 (also from andkon.com), i get to the part where you have to buy the big kid a pudding. The problem is, I cant find any money. What is the difference between the different kinds of Xbox 360's? I am wanting to get a Xbox 360 for my kids and I have no clue what the difference is in all the different ones available. I know that there is arcade, premium, and elite. I was thinking about getting an arcade Xbox 360 but can you play regular Xbox games on it like Halo or Gears of War? My kids will not be playing online so I won't need the gold or silver cards that come with the more expensive ones, however I do want one that has the built in memory because memory cards are such a pain. I want a good system but I don't want to buy one that has more than my kids will need.

Starting a small business.? My friend and I have a great idea for opening a business. We would sell DVDs, cd's, and video games. There would also be an internet cafe along with 2 movie rooms along with an arcade and kid's zone. We would have gaming tournaments every weekend. Where we live, not everyone has high speed internet. There are so many people here that would pay to be able to play games online. His grandfather is a successful realtor so we could get a good price on the property. Also, my uncle deals with pool tables, arcade machines, etc. So neither of those would be a problem. Where the problems come in is getting the start up revenue. is it just me, or does microsoft (360) just try to buy exclusive titles from ps3 and steal idead from the wii? i admit, their online community/network is the best out but copying the wii by making avatar, and trying to draw the younger audience with all those arcade lil kid games. wats so innovative bout the 360 besides gears, halo...like i said seems like their stealing ideas from other systems and trying to make it their own. in my opinion xbox will burn out in a couple years due to lack of innovation. it may be hot now and on top but not for long blockbuster: mgs4 not trying to diss 360, it's an observation, the fact that sony is 3.3 billion in the hole shows they put everything into their system for the consumers and for that reason, i'm proud of sony. gears and halo is the crutch of the 360.

Should i buy a xbox 360 or ps3? Right now I have a wii and it sucks for gaming. So I was looking into buying either a 360 or ps3. For 360 a lot of my friends have 360, so if i bought that i could play with a lot more kids i know than i could if i bought the ps3. Also with the 360 there are games like halo that you can't buy if you have a ps3. For the ps3 im looking at the cost. I saw a 40gb refurbished ps3 for $229. I think it comes with all the componenets you need to play online and everything. For the xbox 360 if i bought the arcade for like $200, I would have to buy a harddrive which is another $60-$100. After that to play online is $50. After that i would probably buy a headset near $40-$60. Then the wireless internet adapters from $60-$100 and the $35 for a rechargeable battery set. Thoughts on E3 Press Conferences? So here is what I think of the press conferences of E3 this year. First let me get Nintendo out of the way by saying YES, they did better than last year. It was good but not great, but its a casual gaming system with last generation graphics so we cant expect much from them but a bunch of kids games and laughable hard core games that dont ever make the cut. The new super mario bros was pretty cool though and the wii fit plus, action, and resort were pretty cool too and should appeal to anyone trying to lose weight. Now that thats out of the way lets get to the real rivalry Microsoft vs Sony. Since everyone is saying that this is the PS3's year to shine because MS took the show last year I personally think it was kinda even with Microsoft having a little bit more of an edge when it came to the new technology aspects (Project Natal is awesome). They both showed excellent games and exclusives, but from a progression stand point, Sony basically did everything that MS did last year, at this years E3. So while everyone is going to bash the 360 I think the fact is that MS showed all their heavy hitters and blockbusters last year and have now MOVED ON, while Sony is just now showing (and delivering) their heavy hitters one year later. So technically their late and everyone has moved on to bigger and better things. I mean we have been waiting for God of War 3 forever (and still have to wait) so everyone already knew about it. Dont get me wrong it kicked sooo much a**, but it wasnt a surprise. Neither was MAG which I think lets me know that Sony is sacrificing quality for quantity. The game has 256 online players at one time but the game looks like complete crap. Just like earlier this year Resistance 2 had all those online players but compared to other FPS it was mediocore at best (Im sure Im going to get hate mail for that). Uncharted looked great and had great action, but I cant help to think that the uncharted franchise is just a fake indiana jones. I also think they spent way too much time on the psp when they should just give up on that because once again they are shooting themselves in the foot. The DS dominates the portable gaming world for one, and two they are adding to much crap into one console that does waay to much. Now this doesnt mean that MS didnt have its flaws. The joyride game could have been kept or done a bit better and had more depth. it looks like a bunch of people will just be driving around, chatting, with no purpose. Also they could have used a few more exclusives instead of just sequels to everything they already have. Last the Hideo Kojima thing is a joke. Let me tell you my theory of what I think really happened. Kojima said he would NEVER port Metal Gear to any other console now all of a sudden he does (Kojima is usually a man of his word). I think MS begged him so much and threw so much money at him that he just broke down and said what the he**. Kojima had a trump card though. He gave us a side character, a second rate metal gear game, one that he is probably not going to oversee or produce (Im sure he got people to do his grunt work for side projects like this). Thus we got raiden. No Solid Snake (or counterparts), no overseeing, no wrinting script, no nothing. Since he knows how bad MS gamers want Metal Gear, he knows people are going to buy it because it has the metal gear name. Thus another cool MILLIONS in his pocket easily made by making FOOLS of us. I think its BS he should have given us snake instead of doing that BS psp crap. He could had made more by going multi platform. My last thoughts are the racing games are too simulated and not enough arcade, those types of racers suck the joy of racing out of the game (NFS SHift, Forza 3, GT 5). For the rest of the week I would love to see more on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Heavy Rain (Sequel to Indigo Prophecy on the original xbox), and a few others. So what are your thoughts and comments? Oh yeah one more thing. The new sony technology is nothing but the wii motion controller. It only reads the controller, NOT the whole body and able to create a real person (milo) like Natal.

XBOX360 IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!? XBOX360- first of all You pay $199 for the arcade system, then you'll decide you'll want the hardrive to download stuff, which costs $180, then you'll want to start playing online so you buy a Live card for $60 then you have to buy a Wireless reciever for $100, then that totals... $539!!!!! including taxes- $609.07!!!!!!!!! then you'll have to buy $60 XBOX live cards all the time, and plus you'll have to pay for your internet bill. so that doubles the cost for everything. you'll eventually be paying over thousands of dollars!!!!!!!!!! PS3- first of all you pay $399.99 plus taxes is $451.98 which is cheaper, then you buy what every games you want, you don't have to buy anything after that, you don't have to buy a wireless internet reciever, don't need an XBOX Live Card, ONLINE PLAY IS FREE!!! so all you gotta worry is paying for the system paying for the games, and paying your internet bill. It is amusing for a little while, until the killjoy algebra teacher notices them. “Ramirez!” he barks. I went to my locker, got the books I needed (just because I was going to ditch didn’t mean I wanted missing assignments) and decided my one friend, Timothy, could give me the rest of my homework later. I ran out of the building, avoiding any wandering administrators. Fortunately, my school was easy to ditch, since there were no cameras, and not many teachers who wanted to spend their lunch watching the halls for pesky kids. Plus, the back door was always welcome to those who needed a small break from school during lunchtime. I was out of the main building in a flash. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I was still mortified about what happened in the cafeteria, and I was sure that was all anyone was talking about. I was so preoccupied, so wrapped up in my problems; I didn’t see the car headed my way. Neither did the driver, a young woman driving a truck, yakking on her cell phone. I heard the screech of wheels, saw the phone fly out of her open window, saw the terrified look in her wide eyes as she hit the brakes. Too late though. Next thing I was on the floor, she was calling 911, there were a herd of strangers around me, and some of them were students. I saw Tim rush to me. I felt Jamie take my hand. Buying an XBOX 360/Questions? Hey I'm a university kid who is thinking of buying myself an XBox 360 on boxing day for my room. I am torn between buying the 199.99 arcade one and the 299.99 elite one. I am basically going to buy it for personal use in my room to kill time or as a break in between studying or as a CD/DVD player to save my dvd player that is part of the TV. I also have no plans on connecting it to the internet or playing online games/downloading music to the hard drive. From what I've gathered, both the arcade and elite come with a controller and the basic stuff, the only real difference in the 256 MB memory vs. the 120 GB memory, but my questions are: -Is there any benefit to buying the more expensive one for my situation -Is there any real downfalls on the "cheaper" one other then memory for me -What is the most memory a game needs, because in the store I was looking at the back of a couple of games and most only needed 4MB to save the game. Also a couple of questions for my own curiosity/later use, if the memory fills up is there a way to see what is saved to it on that main green screen with scrolling. Also for you online gamers, does that run up your GB usage for the internet?

After that I had did a spell to get Psychic Powers those abilities were to increase my power of focus x3, Use energy chi, Sense other people energy, and see signs which turn out to be Rune symbols X’s means something bad is going to happen upside down Y mean somebody is going to move < less than sign meaning something is not in your favor > greater than sign meaning something is in your favor, and the T symbol meaning its Time for something, If I would see a 6 that would mean something evil or a demon is near. Then I had bought a book by A leister Crowley, about how to make my own Gris gris bags I had workout and saved and conserved my energy by transferring them onto the piece of paper by holding the folded pieces in my hand and transferring the energy. A workout converted was 1,000 energy chi so I would put about 10,000 energy chi almost in every bag along with other things I would make a bag for Love, Time, Money & good luck, and power. After I would do my spells I would wrap the paper that I used for the spell with and put the energy chi spikes within the paper and tape it up which is a Spirit and then I would plant it into the ground. When I did a Normal Life Spell I planted the seed of energy that contain 25,000 energy chi. I would also make oils to anoint on the bags along with herbs of caraway seeds, and basil and some other herbs. My father had died so I was afraid of dying early so I had did a Youth Rejuvenation Spell to stay forever 14 little did I know my life would be forced to be a little kid it’s a force does everything to keep me helpless so I have to live with my mom I have trouble finding job. What's the name of a certain video game....? Well, thinking about old memories, ia game I used to play as a kid, back in the 80's came to my mind ....I played it always on arcade....thus, have no idea whether it is NES, SEGA, NEO GEO, etc. So, in this game, very somber...the 'hero' is some sort of caveman, who makes his way through a cemmetery, and every few steps some zombies and other creatures appear...along the way, he'll also find a few tumbstones which make him stronger....and after collecting three, he'll transform into a creature of the night....in the first phase, into a werewolf, in the second into a gargoyle, and so on.... I remember playing it in mid 80's, and back then, the quality of the picture was really good, it looked already like the super nintendo images that would come a few years later....does anyone know the name of this game???? I'm trying to find it online, so I can play it again. And also...while u r at it...does anyone remember a game called Mustapha and the 40 thieves? Similar to Pacman, but cooler. This Mustapha and the 40 thieves is an older one...probably Atari or so...now, Im not really sure whether that's the real name...is what I can remember....I was about 10 when I last played it...21 years ago....but I still remember many details...and would love to play it again, of course....so, if you knew of any links to these games......please, send them to me! So you'd like to... know why the xbox 360 rules all consoles? Come on, Sony fanboys, lighten up and hear me out before you fumble for that "NO" button. I'm sorry that you spent $600+ to play the most powerful gaming system known to man only to find out that there were almost no games worth playing and the ones they do have are as good on the 360. PS3 is still a sweet Blu-ray player, no? So here's the guide: The current gen console wars are history and the next-gen craze is front and center with sky-rocketing prices and awesome new games and features coming out of the woodwork. Sadly, if you're anything like me, you have but a modest budget and tight time constraints on your free time and only have the time and money for one next-gen console. The choices are: 1) Microsoft's awesome Xbox 360 Console Includes 20GB Hard Drive with it's unbeatable live play, slough of incredible original games, and a proven dependable interface, 2) The superpowered, blu-ray technology sporting, hyper-expensive PlayStation 3 (60GB); the gaming juggernaut with an endless supply of Japanese 3rd party support and perfect backwards-compatibility, and 3) the moderately priced Wii which looks to change the way games are played with it's revolutionary motion-sensitive controller, allowing you control you onscreen action using the motions of your hands, and featuring downloadable games dating from the NES all the way to the N64 era. Nice. So which to get? If the title of this guide didn't tell you, I'll tell you straight-up that I'm down with Microsoft on this one. I'm not some fanboy; I've floated between all three of these gaming giants in my years since my mama bought me the Atari 2600 and I believe they all offer something fantastic. Nintendo has and always will excel at family-friendly gaming and simple, pick-up-and-play party games at a good price and is highly recommended as a console for children or nostalgia buffs. But I'm neither of those. The best Nintendo series, which have great games including Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl that are top-notch and fun for all. But they don't carry the whole system for me (though Red Steel also looks promising). Sony's Playstation systems have been the king of the hill as far as sales go, and continue to dominate Japan and America alike with their always impressive list of RPG's and other quirky Japanese funfests. A great choice if you have limitless time and money to buy and play the neverending catalogue of cookie-cutter games mixed in with the handful of premium PS2 franchises such as Final Fantasy XII, Kingdom Hearts II, and the fighting series, Tekken 5. The PS3 itself has stumbled out the gate, promising far more than it has delivered with middling titles like Resistance: Fall Of Man and games that are already available on the 360 and look and play no better. The interface is little more than a carbon copy of the Xbox's tried and true menu system with promises (always with the promises) of a "Second Life"-style friends' lounge coming up. Let's not mention the disgraceful behavior of Sony's supporters on launch day as customers physical fought each other for the few consoles that Sony had available to sell. Oops, I just mentioned it! I miss my Zelda and my Final Fantasy, but the Xbox Core Console USM simply rocked my world when it came out. Microsoft took the classic home console and changed it forever, essentially transforming it into a specialized PC designed just for gamers. Featuring original, groundbreaking franchises like Halo: Combat Evolved and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, while bringing in great PC ports like Elder Scrolls: Morrowind (Game of the Year) and allowing you to download music onto to your xbox and program it like a jukebox or ipod with independent playlists on your television (you could even put customized soundtracks into some games!), Microsoft pulled me away from Sony's RPG paradise. The Xbox Live service is a smashing success and was/is probably the single-biggest draw of the system. Finally, console gamers had a comprehensive, easy to use service that allowed them to crush strangers and friends alike in spirited multi-player battles and wars, meeting new people all along the way through live voice chatting. Last time around, Microsoft was the new kid on the block, coming late to the game with something to prove. This time, the xbox 360 was first out of the gate by a mile with a price tag that puts it right smack in the middle between the cheaper, kid-friendly Wii and the ridiculously pricey PS3. With great franchises new and old like Dead or Alive 4, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, the smash-hit Gears Of War, zombie horror-fest Dead Rising, and the promise of Grand Theft Auto and Resident Evil on the horizon Sony is losing ground fast in the quality franchise department and has shown us very little in return so far, though they have maintained their "We're Sony, bee-yatches. We'll do what we want and you'll buy it!" attitude towards their fans even as they struggle to catch up to the Wii and 360 by attempting to copy them while dismissing them as "last-gen". And let us not forget Microsoft's unstoppable Halo 3; an ace in the hole if ever there was one. The 360 is constantly catering to the most loyal gamers, 20-somethings with some -but not limitless- disposable income and no time to waste on endless throw-away games or kids' stuff. Xbox live has only gotten better with downloadable arcade games (including Street Fighter 2),upcoming game and movie trailers, hi-definition online movie rentals, dozens of television shows available for purchase, free playable demos for current and upcoming games, and a fantastic online gamer community. Nintendo and Sony both have a lot to prove if they hope to ever even compete with Microsoft online. The xbox 360 now allows you to play every single game on the system with any custom soundtrack you can dream up. Good God, that is awesome. It will interface with everything from your ipod or PC, to a USB keyboard usable for future MMORPG's and the current PS2 port Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia, Rise Of The Zilart, Treasures of Aht Urhgan. To compete with the PS3's blu-ray compatibility, Microsoft gives us the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player which gives you the OPTION of upgrading to a new DVD format rather than Sony's built-in cost that you pay for whether you want blu-ray technology or not. After all, there is a format war going on and either HD-DVD or blu-ray (or even both) may become the next Betamax or minidisc in the future. All of this is just one gamer's opinion and I think I've made some good points without being too biased. After all, I'm an old-time Nintendo and Playstation fan myself. Nintendo has more than held it's own with it's mainstream innovations and stranglehold on the handheld market, but Sony hasn't fared so well and disgruntled fanboys must deal with the fact that the xbox 360 kicks major tail on all fronts. The 360 has almost all of the best games and console exclusives (though not as many recognizable characters as Nintendo), the coolest interface and features (though without the PS3's raw power) so far in a home system, and all at a medium price (cheaper than PS3, more expensive than the Wii). In other words, the perfect system right here, right now.
