High Score Arcade

Can somebody tell me the name of this old arcade game?

There's an old arcade game that I've been trying to remember the name of. There's a laser that you use to trap a big wormy type thing. Maybe it's not a worm, but in my mind it looks like one. And then, I believe it gets longer as time passes. You try and trap the wormy thing into the smallest place possible, by using the laser to block out parts of the background. I made a very quick drawing in paint. The green lines are the laser and then light brown thing is the worm. The black things are just rocks or whatever... 1. maybe you are talking about that one game where you have to eat apples, and as you eat the worm gets bigger and bigger until you hit a surface. if you are i have no idea what it is called.
2. well the game that the person who commented above me is referring to is called snake i believe, well tats the version i played on cellfones and stuff
