Can I download xbox live arcade games to a memory card?

My friend wants to some of the xbox arcade games but he does not have an internet connection. He gave me a memory card and some cash so I could do this. Firstly can it be done? Secondly how would I go about this. Thank you for your time.

1. If the Memory Unit has enough room, it can be possible. You will need the 256MB or 512MB memory card though.
